Project Life Week 11 - 3rd week of March

My epic FAIL that I made before getting my bread machine.  Made a perfect BRICK, though.

Bread machine I scored for just $15.  Wahoo...

First dough rising in my new (to me) machine

the result - 2 beautiful loaves of bread

Cinnamon swirl bread ready for a brush of butter.

My Project Life helper - not much help is she?

Just a peek at a week in my Project Life binder

The right side of the same week peek.

Project Life - 1st week of March cont'd and 2nd week of March

Making lunch early in the morning.

Caleb dancing with a cutie while at a Fasching BBQ.

2nd week of March

New haircut - the lady straightened my hair for the day.

Dinner with my family at the Village Grille.

Caleb is trying to catch the popcorn James tossed.

Jared just misses the popcorn I threw.

For some reason Telsa is just a little irritated with us.

James resting after his dental work.

Half of James' mouth is numb and he isn't able to even purse his lips very well.

Project Life - 1st week of March - FASCHING

Fasching in Germany is like Carnivale in Italy or Mardi Gras in New Orleans - the big party before LENT.  This is just one of the many bands we saw today.
Even the children get involved in the dressing up.
 Adults dress up as well.
Jared eating the popcorn that was thrown to the crowd.
The popcorn that was thrown (candy was also thrown).
One of the floats - 2 large buildings
another band all decked out.

Sorry for so long no blog... Project Life updates.

LAST WEEK OF FEBRUARY

Visiting Brian and Diana - they are moving back to the US soon and we need to get our fix in.
Jared and Evan go out with Brian and James for some geocaching.
Weird ducks they saw while geocaching.
The cache was in the top crook of this tree.  Foiled again - I don't think anyone climbed up to get this one.  Too far up there.

Another week in our life

Home with a sickie - coughing, aching, sneezing, sniffling - poor Jared.

James broke his middle toe when he stubbed his toe on Caleb's heel. Ouch!
Today I match the cat! Black and white anyone? She doesn't look very happy does she?

Caleb is helping Emilee with her math. She was out of school sick for several days and asked Caleb if he would help her catch up. I was so impressed with how well he did his tutoring. He didn't give her answers and asked lots of questions encouraging her to figure out the answer for herself. They worked for 4 hours.

Working on the laptop... fun fun!

CRASH, BANG, BOOM!

Who knew that the back end of a VW Golf was so hard?

I really don't like it when people stop faster than me.

Don't scoff at the crumple zone.

a double air bag deployment... I no longer love the smell of gunpowder in the morning.

Scene of the crime..

Project Life - week 7 BIRTHDAY TIME

WaHOO! 15 AT LAST! Happy Birthday Caleb!

Friends at the party getting ready to cut the cake -L-R Emilee, Caleb & Andy

L-R Katherine (hiding behind Andy), Andy, Jared & Evan

Another creative gift - this time from Katherine (Twitchy McSpazz). Love the little note on the cookies, it says, "Now, who doesn't like cookies."

Brian brought us this push mower and put a bow on it so Caleb would think it was his birthday present - funny man! Don't you just love the look on his face.

A creative gift from Emilee - little bits of everything that Caleb likes and/or is interested in. She really spent a lot of time creating this for him.
