Crazy hair day though this actually looks like the hair you would see on a German or Italian kid headed off to school. So I actually thought he looked rather good. With his hair this short it would be kind of hard to do anything to outlandish - except for with some type of coloring. the treat boxes Jared made for his class on Stargirl project day. They went along with the crazy outfit you see next. got to love the leapord print pants, don't you? Stylin'!
Crazy hat day - Caleb took a Burger King bag and a hotel plastic cup to create this crazy hat. Guess you can get very creative when you are living out of a hotel and have only a few things at your disposal. I think he did a pretty good job don't you? Pirate Day! Caleb makes a pretty good pirate.

Cassandra, Jared and Gabriella
Caleb and the girls.
Gabriella and Cassandra moved from Vicenza at the same time we did. They live in the same building on base that we do while waiting for housing. The boys have been enjoying their time with the girls. They run and play tag, sit and swing and chat, walk around the base, eat together, and more. They really have such a great friendship and I know it is helping all 4 of them to adjust to Germany.
Renate, me and Fran at the potluck after worship services
James and I along with James and Renate Walker and Fran. We all attended the Wiesbaden Church of Christ in 2004-2005 and were able to meet together again on October 3, 2010.
Chesnuts hanging over head Slipping out of open shells Making a mess all over the ground. Coming rushing down through the leaves... Narrowly missing hitting your head ...
Yes, walking can be dangerous when walking under chestnut trees.
Either way Reagan is wild and crazy friend of the boys. They had a good time chatting and laughing with Reagan. These photos were taken on their last day in Vicenza. Caleb has already invited Reagan and her family to stay with us for Thanksgiving.
FRIENDS who come by even when things are topsy turvy and CHAOTIC.
Our wonderful, lovely friends Jeremy and Rebecca came over to when the packers where there to pack us out. They sat with us and chatted while we watched the packers work. They even came over and sat with me after we had our break-in so that James could go to base and make the police report. He didn't want to leave me alone with 4 men that I didn't know.
Though I have only known them for about 18 months I know that they are life-long friends. Love you guys!
Vicenza's new middle school had important guests coming for a visit and the school asked the kids to dress up. Jared decided he wanted to wear a tie. So James had to teach him how to tie a tie. Since Jared doesn't own any ties he wore one of James'.
I have been married to my best friend, James for 33 years. I feel so entirely blessed to be his wife and the mother to our children. We have two wonderful sweet generous adult children. I love to create cards and gifts using various mediums, cook and bake. I really like to pamper my family and friends. My current dream, besides crafting my "art" out is to retire to the mountains - some place cool with many trails to hike. Oh, the dreams I have...
