Can you imagine walking into the bathroom and finding this? Exactly how is this supposed to work? There are no bars on the side to hold on to. This is the same kind of bathroom that I saw all over Greece. Let me tell you that there comes a point when your knees just say NO THANK YOU! Fortunately there are a few places that you can still find "American" style toilets. The second photo is of the tank where you push a button to flush the toilet. This is usually high on the wall above your head.
Interesting? Maybe? But I definitely prefer the American way in this instance!
